Wow, was that book sad. Not ashamed to say it. There were definitely some tears shed on my part. Nothing shaming in that.
Well tomorrow I start my community service. 8-2. Packed my lunch. Joy. Not much else to say on that front.
Got my laptop set back up running archlinux. Yay! Not so convinced on this whole gnome3/gnome-shell business. But it does seem more polished than kde4 did when it debuted. Still may go back to xfce just for the sheer weight of it. On a related note, cooking your first android rom isn't as simple as one might think; expecially when said rom is a port. Nasty business.
And I can understand google censoring the market per carrier request. You have to understand, they don't police it like apple does, plus android is still a fledgling platform. They can't afford to upset manufacturers and carriers like apple can. And honesty if you are rooted and looking for a tethering option, I feel confident you should be able to find it.

Life and times of...
I'm reading a book that's very good, "Feed" by Mira Grant. It's part of the newsflesh trilogy, about a group of bloggers growing up in a post-zombie world. enjoyable.
The day before...
Tomorrow I start my 40 hours (actually 30 hours) of community service. Not exactly thrilled to be doing it, but hey, C'est la vie.
